Chicago, IL, the windy city, was blowing on this night but not outside. In the depths of the subterranean Elbo Room, the Twinemen bellowed out some of the finest music we here at KUFALA have experienced in a long time. The dedicated Morphine fans that showed up were awestruck by the Twinemen’s greatness. Their prescription for a musical amphetamine was filled by a performance of Morphine’s “Eleven O’Clock”. In the encore the band shed light on some of their tour van antics and donned headlamps and sent the crowd spelunking through a musical journey. The smiles on peoples faces piling up the stairs to street level said it all, an evening to remember.
